Las Vegas Neil Diamond Tribute Show

Rob Garrett’s “KING OF DIAMONDS” Neil Diamond tribute Las Vegas residency is still thrilling audiences in the “MODERN SHOWROOMS” at Alexis Park Resort Hotel.

Music icon Neil Diamond is one of the greatest and most admired singer/songwriters in pop/rock music history.

In addition to being one of the biggest selling and record-breaking touring artists ever, he’s also composed the music that defined generations — including some of the most unforgettable songs on the planet.

In the beginning of 2018, shortly before his 77th year, Neil Diamond retired from touring after being diagnosed with Parkinson’s.

However, Diamond’s on-stage legacy continues to be kept alive for audiences worldwide through Las Vegas entertainer Rob Garrett, known as America’s premier Neil Diamond tribute performer.

Ask Siri “who is the top Neil Diamond tribute artist,” and you’ll hear the same name.

Like his legendary counterpart, Rob Garrett was born in Brooklyn, NY.

In May 1974, his parents brought him from New York City to Las Vegas, where, two years later, he witnessed his first Neil Diamond concert when Diamond debuted in Las Vegas to record crowds at the Aladdin Hotel’s “Theater for the Performing Arts” in July 1976.

Garrett went on to see him another 16 times across the country—right up until Diamond’s last American show at the Los Angeles Forum on August 12, 2017.

In 1980, Garrett formed his own band, “Rock n Roll Heaven,” and enjoyed a successful 15-year run in Las Vegas and across the nation before transitioning from lead singer of a cover band to a full-time tribute performer dedicated to one of his childhood heroes.

In 1995, Garrett was personally hired by Paul Revere, leader of Rob Garrett Neil Diamond Tribute Show live band “The Raiders” to portray Neil Diamond in the world-famous “Legends in Concert” review.

What was meant to be a limited run turned into a long-term hit show.

By August 1998, Garrett was back in Vegas and continued to perform with “Legends” for another two years before deciding to launch his own show.

He began a busy tour circuit, building a devoted fan base along the way—earning the title “King of Diamonds Las Vegas.”

He continues to sell out theaters nationwide, often in venues fit for superstars.

Garrett has also earned several honors, including “Male Tribute Artist of the Year.”

“Since he (Diamond) announced his retirement, I’ve felt a strong sense of responsibility to keep his legacy alive for future generations. It’s something I never get tired of doing,” he said.

On May 19, 2025 officially proclaimed the date “Rob Garrett Day,” commemorating Rob’s 50 years as a Las Vegas resident and 44 years as a professional Vegas performer.

Now in the year 2025, Garrett celebrates 45 years on stage in Las Vegas, with the last three decades devoted solely to paying tribute to the now-retired Neil Diamond.

It has been said that no other tribute artist is so closely identified with the original performer as Garrett, who has played in more Vegas rooms than any peer.

Since the June closing of “A Beautiful Noise” (the Broadway jukebox musical based on Diamond’s life story), Rob Garrett’s “King of Diamonds” show has become the nation’s sole ongoing Neil Diamond tribute show.

The Alexis Park Resort is located at 375 E. Harmon Ave., about a quarter mile from Paradise Road.
